Seven Steps to Self Realisation
Look Inside the Book
Description
About the Book

Many psychological truths are hidden in the pages of religious texts around the world. India is a rich storehouse of information on the subject of religion. Since religious beliefs are sensitive personal issue, everyone has looked up to them with respect. Few have used them to make life meaningful.

Modern men and women are constantly on the run, stressed to create a balance between the family, the workplace and the society. There is no time either to de-stress or for personal growth.

Seven Steps to Self-Realisation takes a person step by step from everyday life to a higher life through gradual transformation of the self. Every person is unique and at a different stage of development. One can choose to move at a pace that is in harmony with personal psychic development. There is much to learn from the conversations that lead one from mundane life to personal fulfillment.

About the Author

Prem P. Bhalla, educated in Dehra Dun and New Delhi, enjoys writing, photography and travel. He is deeply involved with several social welfare and educational institutions. He has been associated with the Rotary movement for over 45 years.

Mr. Bhalla has written over 20 books on self-improvement and other subjects, and is particularly interested in the welfare of young people. He has been addressing them on personality and career development. His books-A Complete Guide to Careers, Gems from the Ramcharitmanas and The Story of Sri Ram-published by Atlantic Publishers and Distributors (P) Ltd. have received overwhelming response from the readers.

Preface

Many psychological truths are revealed in the pages of religious texts around the world. With Vedas, Puranas and the Upanishads and many other religious texts dating back to thousands of years, India is a rich storehouse of information on the subject of religion. Since religious beliefs have been sensitive personal issue, people have always looked up to them with respect and fear, and rarely with the spirit of inquiry.

Not exposed to the older religious texts and beliefs, the people in the developed countries have only recently begun to notice the realities of a great spiritual power-the existence of souls, rebirth, transmigration and other spiritual phenomena-that could not be explained through the principles of rationality. As the facts are opening up, the logical mind is accepting them, sometimes with awe and often with reservations.

Had I not participated in a séance where souls provided information and experiences, I would also have had reservations because of lack of such experience. But having personally experienced what would seem miraculous, I feel that there is a vast reservoir of knowledge and support available which needs to be explored by the common man. Just as one can learn to drive a car without having to learn the intricacies of how a car is built or operates, one can learn to transform one's life without having to personally seek and verify the scientific truths hidden in the religious texts.

The conversations in this book are an effort in this direction. They take a person step by step from everyday life to a higher life through gradual transformation of the self. Every individual is unique and at a different stage of development. Therefore, every person will need to move at a pace that is in harmony with their personal psychic development. One thing is certain. As one moves through the trials and tribulations of life, there is light, greater happiness and bliss awaiting those who seek them.

A Statue was ordered on Dec 22nd and Paid 194.25 including FREE DELIVERY for me as a GIFT for Christmas and they Confirmed that it will be there in 4-5 days but it NEVER arrived till 30th of December and inspite of my various emails they only replied that it is being finished and will be shipped in 24hrs but that was a LIE and no further delivery information was every sent to me. I called and left a message on the phone number listed on their website which is a NY number but no one answered that phone and I left messages but no reply or update on my Statue was sent to me inspite of my daily emails to know the status. I still await this Statue but NO RESPONSIBLE REPLY.
