This book is an endeavour to provide the readers with a comprehensive but comprehensible study of various aspects of Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education. It is presented in nine different chapters with clarity, concepts, need and significance of Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education.

About the Author

Dr. R.P. Pathak is a Head and Dean, Faculty of Education in L.B.S. Vidyapeeth (Deemed University), New Delhi, teaching B.Ed. and M.Ed. classes. He received his education at Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, B.H.U., Kendriya Hindi. Sansthan, IGNOU and Meerut University. He has served various institutions, 1.e. NCERT, SCERT and IGNOU. He has guided a number of Ph.D. and master level dissertations and has contributed several research papers, articles and reports to various reputed journals.
