Description
About the Author

His Holiness Bhanu Swami Maharaja was born in Canada on the 26th December 1948 to the most fortunate Japanese parents. He is one of the senior Srila Prabhupada, founder acarya of ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. He holds a BA Degree in Oriental fine arts history movement in India 1970. Initiated in 1971 by Srila Prabhupada, he took sannyasa vows in 1984. Bhanu Swamiwas personally instructed in the art of Deity worship by Srila Prabhupada, and within ISKCON he has become an authority on the topic. He is a great inspiration for many devotees around the world and he preaches Krishna consciousness in India, Japan, Malaysia, Australia and Russia.

By 1972, His holiness Bhanu Swami Maharaja had already earned credit from Srila prabhupada for his exact Sanskrit pronunciation, expertise in cooking and excellence in deity worship. He also began to translate Srila Prabhupada’s books into Japanese.

A scholar in Sanskrit and Bengali, Bhanu Swami has translated more than thirty significant works of the Gaudiya Vaisnava canon. Many of these works are commentaries from primary members of the Gaudiya sampradaya.

Bhanu Swami is a quiet achiever and has studied a variety of disciplines including martial arts, Reiki healing, Carnatic music (specifically veena). He is a reputed astrologer.

Bhanu Swami’s depth of scholarship has enabled him to create presentations on topics like karms, reincarnation, yoga and Srimad Bhagavatam. He continues with this translation service to this day, giving us the nectar from the Bengali and Sanskrit works of the previous Vaisnava acaryas to enhance our understanding for the Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy. He is also a member of the Governing Body Commission (GBC) of ISKCON.

Foreword

Krama Sandarbha is Jiva Gosvami’s commentary on the whole Bhagavatam. Among our acaryas Visvanatha Cakravarti has also written a commentary on the whole Bhagavatam. As the title suggests, the commentary on various verses of Bhagavatam is taken from the Sandarbhas. In the Sandarbhas Jiva Gosvami supported his statements on Bhagavan, Paramatma, Krsna, bhakti and prema by amply quoting and explaining Bhagavatam verses from various Cantos. He has taken those explanations of verses and arranged them in order (krama) that they occur in the Bhagavatam. He additionally made comments on verses which are not found in the Sandarbhas. The commentaries taken from the Sandarbhas are marked in the translation.

To reduce the number of pages of the work, only verses where he made commentaries are included in the publication. Thus some verses are missing. That means he did not make any commentary on those verses.

A Statue was ordered on Dec 22nd and Paid 194.25 including FREE DELIVERY for me as a GIFT for Christmas and they Confirmed that it will be there in 4-5 days but it NEVER arrived till 30th of December and inspite of my various emails they only replied that it is being finished and will be shipped in 24hrs but that was a LIE and no further delivery information was every sent to me. I called and left a message on the phone number listed on their website which is a NY number but no one answered that phone and I left messages but no reply or update on my Statue was sent to me inspite of my daily emails to know the status. I still await this Statue but NO RESPONSIBLE REPLY.
