How to perform Shri Satyanarayana Puja (With Transliteration)

Sri Satya Naaraayana is the divine incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu who is the Protector of the Universe.

According to Skanda Puranam devotees are advised to undertake Satya Narayana Vrata and perform this Pooja at the time of rising of moon, on poornima days (i.e. full moon). Besides this, the other auspicious days are Ashtami, Dwadashi, Sunday, Monday, Friday and on Vyadeepadam, Sankaranthi, Divali and Saturday falling in Kanyamasam (Purattasi Month).
