Description
About The Book

Bulbuli lives in a bamboo house in a bamboo grove, and is busy in her little bamboo world from the time she wakes up to the time she goes to sleep. Just by following Bulbuli around, this evocative story told in a rhythmic, cumulative style spotlights bamboo to make a green statement simply and charmingly. Bamboo is, after all, on e of the fastest growing plants on earth and one bamboo grove releases nearly thirty-five per cent more oxygen and absorbs about four times as much carbon dioxide than an equivalent cluster of trees. Words and pictures communicate a very real sense of the versatility of bamboo and its importance as key resource for sustainable living.

About The Author

Among her several acclaimed books for Tulika are the award-winning what Shall I Make? and Ismat's Eid. She lives in Chennai and when she is not painting, she is taking care of dogs.

Fantastic! Thank You for amazing service and fast replies!

I’ve started receiving many of the books I’ve ordered and every single one of them (thus far) has been fantastic - both the books themselves, and the execution of the shipping. Safe to say I’ll be ordering many more books from your website :)

I received the kaftan today via FedEx. Your care in sending the order, packaging and methods, are exquisite. You have dressed my body in comfort and fashion for my constrained quarantine in the several kaftans ordered in the last 6 months. And I gifted my sister with one of the orders. So pleased to have made a connection with you.
