About the Book

For the emanicipation of our sour, we have to indulge ourselves in life long spiritual education. However, it is not possible due to present day limitations. We, therefore, should continue this spiritual education at least along with our modern education.

One should drink only pure milk. But pure milk is not available. That doesn’t mean that we give up drinking milk altogether. Through mixed with water, we do take milk, isn’t it.

About the Author

We have delivered discourses on Srimad Bhagavatam in our Chaturmasya Vrata at Bangalore in 2002. These thoughts were collected and presented by Prof. A. Haridasa Bhat, Principal, Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha and published by Chaturmasya Seva Samiti, Bangalore. Devotees are very much pleased with our presentation and are asking for republication of this edition. Now the Poornaprajna Samshodhana Mandiram has published this text with English translation rendered by Sri Chintalavadi Rama Murthy, a good scholar of Dvaita philosophy and a good writer in English. It is needless to say that the present edition will bring new light to the English media readers of the Nation and abroad. I pray Lord Sri Krishna to bless the authorities of the Poornaprajna Samshodhana Mandiram and Sri Chintalavadi Rama Murthy for their valuable service to the spiritual world.

Director’s Note

I am proud to submit Anugraha Sandesha of H.H. Sri Vishveshatirtha Swamiji of Sri Pejavara Matha, to English readers of the Nation and abroad. H.H. Swamiji delivered lectures on Srimad Bhagavatam in 2002 in Chaturmasya Vrata Deeksha. These were presented in Kannada by Prof. A. Devotees of Sri Swamiji have requested me to publish the work with English translation. I approached Sri Chintalavadi Ramamurthy and he has translated the work in lucid style. I express my gratitude to Sri Chintalavadi Ramamurthy for rendering valuable service to the Poornaprajna Samshodhana Mandiram. I hope Kannada and English readers will be benefited by this Anugraha Sandesha of H.H. Swamiji.

We also express our thanks to Prof. Radhavallabha Tripathi, Vice-chancellor of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, for giving all support in our academic activities.
