Book Description
About The Book:

The Bhagavadgita is a religious text with an established history that has played and continues to play a most significant role in the lives of countless individuals. It is a text which raises significant questions of interpretation and the transmission of knowledge, of the right action, of culture and approach, and of personal commitment in contrast to the 'objective study' of barriers.

The Bhagavadgita for our Times is a collection of seven essays exploring the meaning and symbolism of this challenging ancient text to reveal how it is still relevant in addressing the problems of the modern world, in terms of Dharma (duty), Kama (desire), Artha (wealth) and Moksa (freedom). Written in language that will be scholars who have contributed to this work pave the way to a deeper understanding of the profound vision contained in the Bhagavadgita
