Ananda Ramayana

This little-known version of the Ramayana was composed by the great sage, Valmiki, himself. To this day, it is not half as popular as the other Ramayana versions in scholarly circles; however, in certain pockets of the subcontinent, the Ananda Ramayana constitutes the major source of stories from the life of Lord Rama. Numberless stories in this version have no match in any other version - for example, Ravana's abduction of Kausalya prior to her wedding and of Parvati for complex reasons.

Q1. Who wrote Ramayana Valmiki or Ganesha?

Valmiki's Ramayana – Valmiki's Ramayana is believed to be the first poetic work (written in Sanskrit); it is, therefore, referred to as the Adikavya. However, according to popular belief Ramayana was written by Valmiki and Mahabharata was narrated by Vedavyasa (Maharshi Vedavyasa is considered the Author) but penned by Lord Ganesha.
